Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for experienced Litigation Attorneys located in Dallas and Houston, Texas. The Attorney will be responsible for handling various day-to-day tasks related to law, including court appearances, trials, and depositions. The role requires strong litigation skills and the ability to provide effective and determined representation to clients in the courtroom and during negotiations. Ideal candidates are those who draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and notices for filing. Our attorneys must exercise critical skills, superior communication and organizational skills, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision at times. Candidates must be willing to collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective legal strategies and case management plans.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- 2+ years of litigation experience.
- Significant litigation and trial experience are a plus.
- Desire to work in a busy litigation practice
- Skilled drafting with excellent written and verbal communication, and sharp deductive reasoning.
- Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and deposition-taking abilities.
- Superior analytical skills, such as data analysis, problem-solving, critical thinking, research, and creativity.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environment.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an experience Construction Litigation Attorney located in Dallas, TX. This role is best fit for an Attorney with 5 or more years experience in Construction Litigation and Premises matters. Ideal candidates will have significant experience handling document review, preparing discovery responses, assisting in interrogatory and deposition processes, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and notices for filing. Litigation Paralegal:
The Firm is seeking a skilled, self-directed litigation paralegal to join our trial team. You will be responsible for the coordination of all the details before, during and after trial.
The successful candidate must have high-level experience with a range of litigation support applications. Additional qualifications include excellent analytical and organizational abilities, solid communication and management skills, creativity, initiative and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments
- Draft pleadings, motions, and notices and file them with the court
- Knowledge of statutory deadlines (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)
- Obtaining, analyzing and organizing third party records such as medical records, billing records, and construction files
- Scheduling depositions and hearings
- Corresponding and working with experts
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
- Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
- Help with voir dire, jury selection and witness preparation
- Maintains chain of custody
- Manages logistics of production of documents – hard copy, images, native
- Checks legal cites for proper format, content and standing (Westlaw, Lexis)
Skills:
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
- Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
- Extensive computer and database expertise
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Proficient in Adobe
- E-filing tools
